According to Mark Zwolinski of the Toronto Star, it appears that after a few days of initial reports and subsequent denials, Tim Leiweke will in fact be leaving his post as CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment come June 30, 2015.

As Zwolinski reports:

Leiweke informed the Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. Board that he will continue in his role as CEO of MLSE until June 30, 2015.

"Under Tim's leadership, MLSE has made a number of key moves to strengthen our organization on the path to championship success," said MLSE chairman Larry Tanenbaum.

Zwolinski does mention that while that hard deadline is in place, Leiweke will stay on until a proper successor is found. Still, the news comes as a real blow to the Raptors who had seen their team profile raised considerably since Leiweke's hiring.

We'll have more on this story as it develops but first, what do you guys think about the news?
