"Truth Week" started off much as we probably all expected. The Toronto Raptors lost on Monday night to Heat in Miami.
Now though, despite their records, the Raptors face two teams that haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders shall we say. The Dinos take on the Indiana Pacers on Friday and their woes, especially offensive ones, have been well documented.
And tonight, the Raps face off against the Houston Rockets this evening, the Rockets having lost their last five games against winning teams, including a 105 to 96 loss to Brooklyn last night.
This match may be a battle of two teams missing key players as the Rockets may sit Dwight Howard (he missed last night's match vs the Nets) and the Raps will likely sit Kyle Lowry. Lowry hurt his knee in Toronto's last game but luckily, X-Rays revealed no structural damage.
I expect Lowry will want to play regardless, but here's to hoping he sits this one out so we can all enjoy the Greivis Vasquez and Dwight Buycks show.
Gulp...
GO RAPS!
