If the Detroit Pistons were exactly what the doctor ordered following the Toronto Raptors tough loss to the Brooklyn Nets, the Memphis Grizzlies are...

...a good example of the difference between the Eastern and Western Conferences.

The Grizz, thanks to a nice post-Jan push, are fighting for the last place in the West playoff race despite having a better record than the Dinos, who sit third in the East.

So to put it simply, if Toronto was in the West, broadcasts would likely take on a much less celebratory feel.

But that's the way the cookie crumbles, Toronto is in the East, Memphis is in the West, and none of the above should take away from the fact that tonight's game should be a beauty.

The Grizz have won 11 of 14 and the Raps 10 of 13 so both clubs are coming into this one fairly hot and seem to be similar in terms of offensive and defensive abilities. Toronto ranks 7th in defensive efficiency and 10th in offensive efficiency whereas Memphis comes in at 9th and 15th respectively so tonight could be a slug-fest similar to the Dinos' match-up with the Wiz about two weeks ago.

GO RAPS!
