Hellllllllllllllllllllo Broooooooooooooklyn!
The Nets aren't the title contenders many of us envisioned them to be prior to the season, but they also are no longer the joke of the NBA. (That honour is likely bestowed on their Manhattan brethren, the Knicks.) The Nets have won 11 of their last 15 games and while they aren't quite knocking on Toronto's door for the top spot in the Atlantic, this is another of those games that the Raptors need to win to keep themselves ahead of their Eastern Conference competition.
It's a winnable match that provides Toronto with some distinct advantages, something we discussed in our preview earlier today, and a victory would clinch the season series for Toronto, 3 to 1.
A loss isn't the end of the world obviously, five games of breathing room atop the Atlantic Division sure sounds better than three...
GO RAPS!
