DeMar DeRozan is focused.
Or, he's at least preaching focus.
TSN.ca's Josh Lewenberg tweeted earlier today that DeRozan gathered the troops post-practice to discuss the final stretch, and that "every single game matters now."
No word on whether the games back in November had much meaning but we take his point. If the Toronto Raptors want to lock down not only a playoff spot, but a top three seed, they need to keep rolling, and need to beat clubs like tonight's foe, the Washington Wizards, who are trying to close in on the Dinos.
The odds on paper do seem to favour Toronto in this one. Besides winning both of the previous matches this season, the Raptors are looking for a third straight win while the Wizards have actually lost two straight and have only won four of their last 10 matches.
