Kyle Lowry is known for giving a lot of things on the basketball court; whether it be assists to his teammates, attitude to officials or one hundred percent effort on every play.

On Tuesday though, Lowry's giving happened off the court as he treated a group of school kids aged 6-13 to a wish they could only ever ask for: an unlimited seven minute shopping spree at Toys R Us.

The Dance Pak also teamed up with Lowry and his wife Ayahna for the event which took place under the banner of NBA Cares Season of Giving initiative.

With Lowry becoming the face of the franchise, it's great to see him giving back to the community and embracing his status as a role model for many youth of Toronto.

Hopefully Lowry's giving mood sticks with him tonight against the Nets, and he can reach double digits in assists to lead the Raps to victory.
