If you've been following the Raptors through the first ten games of the season, you may have noticed an increase in nods to nostalgia. It's the franchise's 20th season after all. At one game, they wore purple jerseys and provided special video montages to Alvin Williams and Antonio Davis. In another, Chuck Swirsky got the special treatment.
But now, on Wednesday, they welcome the biggest name of all: Vince Carter. Vinsanity. Half-Man, Half-Amazing. Air Canada Carter. The Man Who Put the Raptors on the Map. (That last nickname doesn't quite roll off the tongue.)
It's been buzzing around on Twitter for most of the afternoon: When the Memphis Grizzlies visit the Raptors tomorrow for their game at the ACC, the arena is set to play a video montage to honour Carter.
SO, the question is this: Do you want the Toronto Raptors to honour Vince Carter?
Let's discuss this. CALMLY.
