When we last left our fearless Toronto Raptors, they were preparing for maybe their biggest contest of the season, facing the Eastern Conference-leading Indiana Pacers.
It was the game that was supposed to truly test the Dinos' mettle however...the Raptors scoffed at the challenge, beating the Pacers quite handily down the stretch and came away with a 95 to 82 win.
"But let's not send things in the opposite direction folks!"
That's my rallying cry tonight as the Raptors head back on the road to face the Washington Wizards, a solid squad with a near .500 record, but who are by no means at the same level as Indiana.
The old saying goes that good teams beat the teams they should beat, or something like that, and tonight's match then is no exception.
I'm on the M-I-C as we watch John Wall and co. try and stop Toronto from winning its fifth-straight match...
GO RAPS!
