The Toronto Raptors today made a few small tweaks to their organization.
No big deal, and the end result isn't confusing at all.
But compounding all of this is, oh yeah, there's the NBA Draft lottery tonight!
Now granted, the Raptors, don't have much of a chance at keeping their pick. Thanks to their acquisition of Kyle Lowry last summer, their lottery pick is headed to Oklahoma City by way of Houston unless they somehow beat the odds and land in the top three.
Toronto's chances of doing that are 2.5 per cent, but hey, stranger things - like Colangelo losing his GM title but keeping the President one - have happened!
Here are the important details for tonight:
Time: 8:30 EST - ESPN coverage of the event begins. I have no idea what channel this is on in Canada, but it looks like the NBA game that follows, Spurs vs Grizz, is on the Score and Sportsnet so it's probably a safe bet that it's on one of those two.
The Order: Here's the seeding order. Again, if the Raptors fail to jump into a top three spot, the 12th overall pick will be headed to the Thunder.
1. Orlando Magic
2. Charlotte Bobcats
3. Cleveland Cavaliers
4. Phoenix Suns
5. New Orleans Pelicans
6. Sacramento Kings
7. Detroit Pistons
8. Washington Wizards
9. Minnesota Timberwolves
10. Portland Trailblazers
11. Philadelphia 76ers
12. Toronto Raptors
13. Dallas Mavericks
14. Utah Jazz
