How about that Jonas Valanciunas?

He might be ok eh?

Tonight he faces off against the Minnesota Timberwolves as he looks for a second straight double-double.

AND, he has some teammates to help him out!

Seriously, these last seven games are really all about Jonas and the rooks and since Terrence Ross has played more like Antoine Wright than Mo Pete of late, and Acy has only seen limited action, yep, it's really all about Mr. Valanciunas.

Valanciunas ranks fourth actually in ESPN.com's Rookie Rankings currently, behind only Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis and Brian Roberts. A continuation of his recent play would likely see him finish in the top three and there's no question, he's been the club's biggest bright spot on the season.

Ross has had moments, but has struggled of late. He's in a tough position because as coach Dwane Casey noted recently, he wants to play Ross, but Ross isn't exactly doing himself any favours with his play.

Tonight represents an opportunity for both players, along with Acy, to get some solid run in against a Wolves team that's facing another lottery visit.

But also looking at getting win number 1000 for head coach Rick Adelman.

Adelman needs one victory to become the eighth coach in NBA history to win 1000 games, a pretty remarkable accomplishment.

And the way this season's gone for TO, it seems likely he'll hit that mark tonight.

GO ROOKIES!
