UPDATE: Rumbling is that the Raptors will look to move Hamed Haddadi and a 2nd round draft pick for Telfair

As the NBA trade deadline looms, the Raptors seek to find another point guard to bolster their roster. Bryan Colangelo seems interested in adding Sebastian Telfair onto the Raptors' roster. (According to Yahoo Sports' )

Telfair is currently with the Phoenix Suns and is currently in the final year of a $1.5 million contract. He has been a productive player on the Suns, shooting a respectable 38% from the 3 point line, and 77% from the foul line. His 4:1 assist to turnover ratio would also help out the Raptors who have seen their assist to turnover ratio take a hit since Jose Calderon was moved.

In his late 20's, Sebastian Telfair has become a steadying presence on the Suns' roster and has played 46 games this year and 60 last year after bouncing around the league for a while.

There is no word on what the Raptors would be giving up as a result of the trade, but both John Lucas and Hamed Haddadi both are within the same salary range.

As NBA rumours continue throughout the day, we will try to keep you up to date.
