Denver Nuggets vs Toronto Raptors

February 12, 2013

TSN - 7:00 PM EST

I was really looking forward to this one.

Yep, the Toronto Raptors had been playing fairly well since acquiring Rudy Gay, but wanted to see the team face a few more tough contests ala their recent match against the Miami Heat.

Beside that one, the Dinos have taken on the Chris Paul-less Clippers, a not so good New Orleans squad, and a Boston club that while tough, is obviously not in peak form either.

So to me, this was one of those litmus test games.

Unfortunately, that no longer appears to be the case as Andre Iguodala and Danilo Gallinari are sitting this one out with injuries, so the Dinos get a short-handed version of the Nugs.

Not that this will suddenly be an easy win for Toronto.

As we noted in our preview today, this is still a very good basketball team even without Iggy and Gallo so Toronto is going to have to play a disciplined and focused game tonight.

GO RAPS!!
