Raptors Waive Carlos Morais and Chris Wright, Keep Julyan Stone Around

Raptors trim their roster to 15...

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday evening the Toronto Raptors cut their roster down to 15, waiving two of their three Training Camp invites, Chris Wright and Carlos Morais. While there was no word from the team on the third invitee, Julyan Stone, it sounds like he may end up being signed as the 15th man on the club's roster.

High five.

And really, this wouldn't be a big surprise considering Stone was nearly signed this past summer but injuries derailed his Raptors' career. As well, from the word out of training camp and preseason games, it seemed the Raptors' head coach Dwane Casey was dropping hints that Stone had an edge over Wright and Morais due to his length and defensive abilities.

We'll wait for the final word from the Dinos on Stone, but likely the club's roster is now all set and ready for business.

Because...yep, business kicks off in just a matter of days.
