Sunday's game against the Lakers was a lot of fun. The true Raptors fans left the ACC overjoyed at their team's victory, and all those other 'fans'- thousands of them - wearing purple and gold, cheering on every Kobe basket, left the ACC shocked and bewildered by the result.
Dwight got ejected for who-knows-why, Kobe had the type of off day you rarely see from him, and the rest of the Lakers were left awing at the Raptors 3D style baseline logo... or something like that. Either way, a win is a win, and I'll take that type of win any day.
But was it a fluke? Have the Raptors finally turned a corner, and become a team that can offensively overpower their opponent, despite lacking in the talent department? Or was this loss due to a series of unfortunate events that led to the worst loss of the Lakers season?
We'll find out today.
The Raptors take on the Heat in Miami's American Airline Center, as they face the reigning NBA champions, and current top team in the East. By Heat standards, Miami has been struggling lately, winning just 6 of their last 12 games, including losses to Detroit, Portland and Utah.
So you're saying there's a chance!? Yes, I guess I am.
GO RAPS!!
