Lithuania improved to 2 and 3 in Group A action in the current London Olympics, thanks to a 76 to 63 victory over Tunisia this morning.
Interestingly though, it wasn't Linas Kleiza doing the damage for the Lithuanian side as he scored only four points on 2 of 9 shooting.
Instead it was the bench play of some familiar names like Seibutus, Songaila and Jasikevicius who led the charge, pouring in a combined 36 points to net the nation its second W. The win has them in fourth place in their pool, but they could be tied record-wise with Argentina after the day is done, as Argentina faces off against the US in its final game of group action.
And while Linas Kleiza's stats in today's win may be a surprise, at this point we shouldn't I guess be aghast that the Raptors' young big man, Jonas Valanciunas, failed to score and played only 12 minutes.
He did however pull in six rebounds, a very solid number considering his lack of playing time, but the end result is still the same; not much change to evaluate the Raptors' first-round pick from 2011.
This brings me therefore to today's poll question. Usually we throw these up on Sunday's over the summer, but with today being a holiday throughout a good chunk of Canada, we figured we'd do it now and ask about your expectations of Jonas...
