While we've yet to hear anything official from the team, it appears that the roster for the 2012 Toronto Raptors Summer League entry is set. A shout out to one of our readers, Scott, for the heads up on this, as the team is set to begin action tomorrow evening against the newest member of the Toronto Raptors, Kyle Lowry's, former team, the Houston Rockets.

Here's the full roster via NBA.com:

2012 Raptors Summer League Team

2012 Raptors Summer League Roster
Num Player Position Height Weight From
4 Quincy Acy F 6'8" 225 Baylor / USA
0 Bobby Brown G 6'2" 175 Cal-State Fullerton / USA
25 Rodney Carney F 6'7" 205 Memphis State / USA
32 Ed Davis F 6'10" 225 North Carolina / USA
15 Tu Holloway G 6'0" 187 Xavier / USA
33 Daniel Orton C 6'10" 255 Kentucky / USA
21 Trent Plaisted F-C 6'11" 220 BYU / USA
31 Terrence Ross G 6'7" 197 Washington / USA
9 Blake Schilb G-F 6'7" 220 Loyola / USA
18 Ben Uzoh G 6'2" 205 Tulsa / USA

Names like Ed Davis, Quincy Acy and Terrence Ross are hardly a surprise and it's nice to see Ben Uzoh there too.

Also, and as we touched on yesterday, Xavier PG Tu Holloway is indeed also part of the Vegas team.

More unexpected is former first-round pick Rodney Carney, who after a great college career at Memphis, has never seemed to be able to build on his incredible physical and athletic talents, something that has relegated him to somewhat of a "journeyman" role in the NBA to date. At 6-7 though he could be a realistic option for the Raps as a back-up swingman.

Also on the "random" side of things is center Daniel Orton, the former Kentucky big man who backed up DeMarcus Cousins for Coach Cal only a few seasons ago. Orton was drafted by the Orlando Magic in 2010 but is currently an unrestricted free agent so the Raps appear to be doing their due diligence here.

Other than that, Summer League vet Bobby Brown is back for another spin and the Dinos have sprinkled in a few other names like Trent Plaisted and Blake Schilb.
