Earlier this evening we noted the expectations that were likely on DeMar DeRozan as he entered his third NBA off-season. When he was drafted, names like "Vince Carter" and "Kobe Bryant" were bandied about, but so far, he's looked much more like Josh Childress or Antoine Wright early in their careers; their are moments of brilliance and domination, but inconsistency remains to be the key theme.
Therefore the hope is that after a lackluster third season, DeRozan approaches this off-season with renewed vigor, and takes his game to another level next season.
The expectations are certainly there from both fans and management, but DeRozan is hardly alone in terms of being a current member of the Dinos that may feel as if the weight of the world is on his shoulders.
Big things are also expected of the likes of James Johnson, Andrea Bargnani, Jerryd Bayless (provided he stays around), and Ed Davis and there's a certain top pick from last year who may need to show a thing or two.
So a question then for Raptors' fans: Which Raptor has the highest expectations on him going into next season?
