Dwight Powell Could Key a 'Chip in Today's NC-Double-Eh Tournament Schedule

Tonight's lone game has Stanford looking for an NIT championship and it's Dwight Powell, who is their spark off the bench, could be a very big reason for a possible Cardinal win ...

Here is where the men are playing today ...

NIT

7:00pm Minnesota vs. Stanford - There is something to be said about someone who can be a spark off the bench for their team and Stanford's Dwight Powell is one of them right now. He continues on this great post season string after having posted 6 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists in the Cardinal's 74-64 win over Massachusetts on Tuesday night. That's right in line with his series long averages of 9.3 points, 6 boards, an assist and 1.6 steals in 21.5 minutes in his four games right now and is looking like the player he was projected to be at the beginning of the year before the ankle injury slowed him down. Powell's been playing incredibly well off the bench his limited minutes the entire post season and in this big game he could be the difference maker for the Stanford in their possible championship win.
