Brady and Baylor Look to Topple Kentucky in Today's NC-Double-Eh Tournament Schedule

New, comments

Brady Heslip and his Baylor Bears are looking to punch their ticket to the Final Four (my bad) today against the Young 'Kats of Kentucky plus some great women's games all right here ...

Here is where the men are playing today ...

NCAA

2:20pm Baylor vs. Kentucky - Brady Heslip has been playing the best three game stretch of his season at the best time possible. Though he did only get 11 points in the win over Xavier Friday, on 3-of-7 from the floor, he is still averaging 18.3 points. In what should be a titanic match up of teams fill with some very good players but with the athletics wings on this edition of Kentucky will Heslip be able to get his shot off? Whether or not he will be able to beat his man one-on-one, he will have to stick his outside jumpers when he has them to help open up the middle for the Baylor slashers and big men. I don't want to say he's going to be the key to a Bears win but he'll be a big part of it for sure.

And here is where the ladies are playing today ...

NCAA

2:32pm St. Bonaventure vs. Notre Dame - Notre Dame's looking like a team destined for the Final Four but first they'll need to get past a very good St. Bonaventure team. Natalie Achonwa will again be the bench spark for the Fighting Irish but she'll need to stay out of foul trouble to be a true boost. In the team's last game this past Tuesday, a 73-62 win over Cal, she was saddled with four fouls and limited to 13 minutes but she did have 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block in her time. If she can stay on the floor, she could have a big game today.
