Joseph, Pangos, Sacre and Ejim Highlight Today's NC-Double-Eh Tournament Schedule

In day three of the Madness that is March, we have Kris Joseph looking to get one more win as a senior and the Canadian tag team of Kevin Pangos and Robert Sacre looking to upset the Buckeyes plus more games all right here ...

Here is where the men are playing today ...

12:15pm Kansas State vs. Syracuse - Syracuse barely beat UNC Asheville two days ago and they are going to need a better effort against a fired up Kansas State team. The only good side about this whole situation is that both teams only won their games by six points. I don't know if that's a positive but it's something to work with. Kris Joseph did not have a great game but he had a solid game going for 12 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks and an assist. Those are good numbers but he'll need to be all in from the tip. With all the talent on this Orange team, he is still going to need to assert himself from start to finish even if it means forcing the issue at times. As a senior who played in four straight NCAA Tournaments, it'll be up to him to lead by example and possibly impose his will on this game for the win.

2:45pm Gonzaga vs. Ohio State - This will be an interesting matchup. Rob Sacre will likely have the task of stopping Jared Sullinger in the post while Kevin Pangos could possibly have the duty of defending Aaron Craft. If these storylines play out, I'm thinking that if Sacre can lock up Sully on O and get him into foul trouble on D with his own post game that helps Gonzaga's chances of winning this game. For Pangos, he and Craft are similar type players but the key will be if Pangos can get his offense going on the Big Ten's best defender. Huge tests for both today for sure and for Sacre, this could possibly be his last game of his college career.

5:15pm Murray State vs. Marquette

7:45pm Iowa State vs. Kentucky - I'm not going to lie, this should be a Kentucky win. What will be interesting to watch is who Melvin Ejim is defending. Ejim is a very athletic and strong defender and he has been matched up with bigger players most of his first two seasons so in a game like this where he'll likely face the opposite, we'll get to see how could he is and possibly could be for next season. I'm thinking Michael Kidd-Gilchrist or Doron Lamb as the likely pairings during the game for Ejim.

8:40pm Colorado vs. Baylor

8:00pm Drake @ Rice - In Rice's tight 68-63 win over Louisiana-Lafayette Wednesday, Dylan Ennis had a pretty good game in limited time. In 24 minutes, he had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists which is something he could build on. Also keep an eye on Drake's Kurt Alexander who has been playing well since being inserted into the starting lineup last month.

9:00pm Idaho @ Utah State

And here is where the women are playing today ...

11:10am Texas vs. West Virginia

6:30pm BYU vs. DePaul

6:30pm Iowa State vs. Green Bay

6:00pm Harvard @ Temple
