The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb. 9

Tonight there is a whole slew of great games to catch that include wunderkind Justin Edwards and Mike Allison at Maine, Nik Cochran and Davidson, the pair of Mutombo and Cole at Western Carolina, Devoe and Olu and Oregon as well as the wonder twins at Utah Wicijowski and Plouffe plus a bunch more in this edition of Canadian Content ...

Here is where the men are playing today ...

7:00pm Wisconsin @ Minnesota

7:00pm Lehigh @ American

7:00pm NC State @ Georgia Tech

7:00pm Maine @ Boston University - Maine's Justin Edwards is coming off his 7th America East Rookie of the Week award and also another near double-double in his 15 point, 9 rebound, 5 assist, 3 blocks and a steal game in the 73-63 loss to Vermont on Monday. Mike Allison has also been playing well of late and the Black Bears are going to need a big game from him especially if they want to steal this win from Boston University and get one game closer to the top of standings.

7:00pm Elon @ Chattanooga

7:00pm Siena @ Niagara

7:00pm Valparaiso @ Cleveland State

7:00pm Rider @ Canisius

7:00pm Davidson @ Citadel - In Davidson's 76-54 blowout win over Wofford, Nik Cochran was scoreless on 0-of-4 shooting Monday. This marked the first time all season and not since January 5 of last season that he was without a point in a game. I would think that he'd be looking to get himself going early to get back into the swing of scoring.

8:00pm Illinois @ Indiana

8:00pm South Dakota State @ South Dakota

8:00pm Tennessee-Martin @ Southeast Missouri State

8:00pm Eastern Illinois @ Tennessee Tech

8:00pm Western Carolina @ Charleston - Keaton Cole had been playing some great ball of late scoring 17 or more points in three of his last four games for Western Carolina. I need to include that he's made 18 threes in that four game span as well and should continue that torrid shooting into tonight's game. Teammate Harouna Mutumbo hasn't been a slouch either. He's scored 14 or more points in three of his last four despite coming off the bench in the last two.

8:05pm Arkansas-Little Rock @ Louisiana-Lafayette

8:05pm North Dakota @ Chicago State

8:30pm Utah @ Arizona State

9:05pm Montana @ Northern Colorado

10:05pm Portland State @ Idaho State

10:05pm UC Irvine @ Cal State Fullerton

10:30pm California @ USC

11:00pm Saint Mary's @ Gonzaga - The last time these two teams met Saint Mary's handed Gonzaga a terrible beating at home and you can bet that the memory of that is still fresh. And though Kevin Pangos had a good game (12 points, 4 assists, and 0 turnovers) Rob Sacre would rather erase that from his mind all together. Sacre managed 4 points on 1-of-7 shooting and 3 rebounds in 18 minutes. With this rivalry heading back to Gonzaga, you can bet the stakes and the pressure will be high on both sides to get the W.

11:00pm Stanford @ UCLA

11:00pm New Mexico State @ Idaho

11:00pm Washington @ Oregon - Our reigning Player of the Week Devoe Joseph has probably circled this game on the calendar for a while now. The last time Oregon played Washington on the road, he was held to 4 points on 1-of-13 shooting in 34 minutes. There will be pride here for Joseph to show that the last game against the Huskies is nothing more than a memory and that he is among the best in the PAC-12.

11:00pm Loyola Marymount @ Portland

11:00pm Santa Clara @ San Francisco

And here is where the ladies are playing today ...

6:00pm Northwestern @ Michigan State

6:00pm Siena @ St. Peter's

7:00pm Northeastern @ George Mason

7:00pm Old Dominion @ Delaware

8:00pm Tulane @ Houston

8:00pm Detroit @ Green Bay

8:00pm Minnesota @ Iowa

8:00pm Cleveland State @ Loyola (IL)

8:05pm Michigan @ Nebraska - Nebraska's Kaitlyn Burke has been a starter all year and playing against Michigan tonight will be a great game to watch. She's been one of the starting guards all season and this will be a nice inter conference match up.

9:00pm Arizona @ Colorado

9:00pm Portland @ Saint Mary's

9:00pm Gonzaga @ BYU

9:00pm Arizona State @ Utah - Utah's pair of Taryn Wicijowski and Michelle Plouffe seem to have been taking turns to see who gets to star in the post. Last week it was Wicijowski so one would expect that Plouffe's turn is his week. Utah will have their hands full tonight for sure against the good Arizona State team and they could use both these great players having monster games together if they want to steal one.

9:05pm NJIT @ Utah Valley

10:00pm Oregon State @ Washington State

10:00pm San Francisco @ San Diego

10:00pm Seattle @ Portland State

10:00pm Cal State Fullerton @ UC Santa Barbara
