The NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week - Week 13

Player of the Week

Devoe Joseph - Senior, Oregon

Devoe Joseph has been playing well all season and had an exceptional week last week. In Oregon's split of road games, he averaged 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2 steals in 39 minutes in each contest. He shot 12-of-27 from the floor, 5-of-10 from the three and 9-of-12 from the free throw line to earn an honorable mention PAC 12 selection but our nod for NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week.

In Oregon's 79-68 win over Utah on the road February 2, Joseph had 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals helping lead his team to victory. He shot 6-of-13 from the floor, 2-of-4 from the trey and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe in 39 minutes.

In the Ducks' next game two days later, Joseph was again great but this time in defeat as they dropping a tight game to Colorado 72-71 in Boulder. He would end the contest with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in 39 minutes. He shot 6-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-6 from behind the arc, while making 3-of-4 three throws.

On the season, Joseph is averaging 15.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 steals in 34.8 minutes. He's shooting .452 from the floor, .452 from the three and .803 from the line. Joseph leads the team in scoring, assists, steals, three point field goal percentage and minutes played. Because he hasn't played in 75% of Oregon's games as of yet he does not qualify for any of the league leaders in stats but his current season averages would place him among the leaders in several categories.

Honorable Mention: Laurent Rivard, Harvard - 18 ppg, 2 rpg, 1.5 spg, 10-of-20 FGs, 5-of-14 3PT FGs, 11-of-16 FTs, 28 mpg vs. Cornell and Columbia.

Rookie of the Week

Daniel Mullings - Freshman, New Mexico State

Since being inserted into the starting lineup in December, Daniel Mullings has been very productive and last week was showed it. In two Aggies wins, he averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2 steals in 30.5 minutes. He shot 14-of-21 from the floor and 3-of-5 from the line to earn this week's NC-Double-Eh Rookie of the Week.

In New Mexico State's 78-57 win over Cal-Bakersfield Feb. 1, Mullings went for 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in 33 minutes. He shot 7-of-11 from the floor and made both his free throws in the victory.

In the Aggies 83-72 win over Louisiana Tech three days later at home, Mullings went for 15 points (14 in the second half), 7 rebounds, 3 steals and an assist in 28 minutes. He shot 7-of-10 from the field and managed 1-of-3 from the foul line in the contest.

For the season Mullings is averaging 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 25.7 minutes. He's shooting .483 from the floor and .608 from the line. He's second on the team in steals and he also ranks among the top 15 in the Western Athletic Conference in field goal percentage (12th) and steals (5th).

Honorable Mention: Dylan Ennis, Rice - 11.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5 rpg, 1 spg, 7-of-15 FGs, 5-of-9 3PT FGs, 4-of-6 FTs,25.5 mpg vs. UTEP and East Carolina.
