The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb. 5

Today is a lighter one compared to Super Saturday yesterday, largely due to Super Bowl festivities, but we have a couple of great women's games that feature Duquesne and Wumi Agunbiade and Natalie Achonwa and her Fighting Irish before you catch the pigskin contest ...

Here is where the men are playing today ...

1:00pm Minnesota @ Nebraska

1:00pm Niagara @ Rider

2:00pm Cleveland St @ Illinois-Chicago

And here is where the women are playing today ...

1:00pm DePaul @ Notre Dame - This will be a good, dirty Big East in conference game right here. Notre Dame is taking their number 2 ranking against number 23 DePaul - what more can you ask from a great game. Natalie Achonwa had a pretty good game in the Irish's 71-47 blowout over Rutgers (who was a ranked team by the way) going for 15 points on 6-of-8 from the field and 7 rebounds in a very efficient 24 minutes. She's been a sparkplug off the bench when inserted into games and this could be a game that the Irish will need her. Now bear in mind, I thought that the Notre Dame/Rutgers game would be close but the Irish should why they're higher on the food chain. This game could go either way but either direction it goes Notre Dame will still win and Achonwa will be a key contributor.

1:00pm Hartford @ Vermont

2:00pm Drexel @ Northeastern

2:00pm Missouri @ Texas Tech

3:00pm Michigan State @ Michigan

3:00pm Penn State @ Minnesota

3:00pm Duquesne @ Saint Louis - Duquesne's Wumi Agunbiade had a solid game against a very good St. Bonaventure team going for 11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and a block in 36 minutes. She was held to 4-of-13 from the field by a nationally ranked defense so against Saint Louis she should be able to operate a little easier. Expect a big game from Wumi today.

3:00pm Houston @ Tulsa
