The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb. 22

Tonight we have some big games going on that feature Andrew Nicholson and St. Bonaventure, Kris Joseph and Syracuse, Melvin Ejim and Iowa State and a whole mess more on both the men's and women's side all right here ...

Here is where the men are playing today ...

7:00pm South Florida @ Syracuse - Kris Joseph helped Syracuse stave off a rather tenacious Rutgers team three days ago and was under utilized in that game if you ask me. Tonight against an equally tough South Florida team, a team that is fighting for an at large bid and a victory over the ‘Cuse would help that. Despite the Orange having a deep team and if the Orange don't look to get him touches in this game, it could be a lot closer than it really needs to be.

7:00pm George Mason @ Northeastern

7:00pm Houston @ Marshall

7:00pm New Hampshire @ Maine

7:00pm James Madison @ Drexel

7:00pm St. Bonaventure @ Fordham - Andrew Nicholson was a repeat recipient of the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week (and the NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week too, FYI) and I'm sure he's riding high on the great play he's been having over the last two games. Fordham is among the bottom of the conference but being as they have nothing to really lose tonight, this could be a tougher than expected game for the Bonnies. If Nicholson can stay out of foul trouble, like in his last four games, I would think that he's up for a huge game tonight. Also keep an eye on Chris Johnson who's been shooting well the last few games.

7:00pm Lehigh @ Navy

7:00pm Richmond @ Saint Joseph's

7:05pm Morgan State @ Coppin State

7:30pm George Washington @ Charlotte

8:00pm Rutgers @ Marquette - Junior Cadougan is playing tonight but really, you should be watching just to see the game. Rutgers gave Syracuse a scare and they can do the same to Marquette. This will be a great game with both teams pretty similar in styles and personnel.

8:00pm Bradley @ Northern Iowa

8:05pm Southern Illinois @ Drake

8:30pm Michigan State @ Minnesota

9:00pm Texas Tech @ Iowa State - Last week, Iowa State's Melvin Ejim averaged a double-double, 13.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4 assists, a block and a steal for good measure. Iowa State was 1-1 but he plays a perfect Robin to Royce White's Batman. With the Cyclones closing out their season soon, a win over Texas Tech would help their case for an at large bid more than hurt.

9:00pm UCF @ Rice

And here is where the women are playing ...

12:00pm Akron @ Miami (OH)

7:00pm Rhode Island @ Massachusetts

7:00pm Duquesne @ Richmond - Duquesne's Wumi Agunbiade is working on a six game double digits scoring streak while her team is working a four game winning streak. The Lady Dukes are sitting pretty at 19-8 and a win against Richmond tonight could help them in the post season.

7:00pm Lafayette @ Colgate

7:00pm Navy @ Lehigh

8:00pm Seattle @ Chicago State - Seattle is one of the last remaining independent teams in Division 1 and are really not playing for a conference title but I always had a soft spot for senior guard Elle Kerfoot. She's Canadian and I always digged on a chick with a handle and a jumper. The fact that Kerfoot's also a blonde, cute and a starting guard put her in the must watch for me.

9:00pm UNLV @ Boise State
