In a light Sunday of action, we have two huge men's games today that feature Syracuse and Kris Joseph and Oregon vs. Stanford that will have four Canadians in action including Devoe Joseph plus more great games all right here ...
Here is where the men are playing today ...
1:00pm Syracuse @ Rutgers - In Syracuse's narrow 52-52 win over Louisville on Monday, it's odd to say that Kris Joseph was limited in his contribution that game. Having been saddled with foul trouble, Joseph was limited to 7 points (on 2-of-5 shooting might I add) but he did have 6 rebounds, 2 steals as well as an assist and a blk. Rutgers is riding a four game losing streak right now but they are fighting for a spot in the Big East Tournament and will not take this game lightly. I would expect Joseph to get his minutes in early, avoid early foul trouble and put up more Joseph-esque stats for his team to blowout the Scarlet Knights.
7:30pm Oregon @ Stanford - In the 86-83 Oregon loss to California three days ago, Devoe Joseph had a career high 33 points on 10-of-17 shooting and 9-of-9 from the stripe. I'm thinking that he scores a little less today and looks more to distribute the rock to help his team get the win, unless they need him to score en masse. And that is entirely possible.
And here is where the women are playing tonight ...
12:00pm Michigan @ Indiana
1:00pm Temple @ Rhode Island
1:00pm Maine @ Vermont
2:00pm James Madison @ Northeastern
2:00pm Delaware @ Drexel - Vanessa Kabongo hasn't really played much for Delaware this season but you should catch this game to watch her teammate Elena Delle Donne on action. She's a monster in the making.
2:00pm Wisconsin @ Nebraska
2:00pm George Washington @ Massachusetts
2:00pm UTEP @ Houston
2:00pm Loyola (MD) @ Iona
2:00pm Marist @ Niagara
2:00pm Fairfield @ Canisius - The three headed Canadian basketball monster that is Canisius will be in action and it's always a 3-to-1 shot at guessing who's staring in any game that they play. I'm betting today's Canuck Golden Griffin of the game is Jamie Ruttle with best supporting Canadian being Ashley Wilkes.
2:00pm Rider @ Siena
