Tonight we have a few games that should tickle your fancy that include Nik Cochran and Davidson, St. Bonaventure and the Canadian front, New Mexico State and their Canuck contingent and a few ladies all right here for you ...
Here is where the men are playing today ...
7:00pm Xavier @ George Washington
7:00pm Drexel @ Northeastern
7:00pm Eastern Michigan @ Miami (OH)
7:00pm Davidson @ Furman - Davidson's Nik Cochran has made 33 threes this season so far but 6 of them came in the Wildcats' loss to Samford this past Saturday (all 18 of his points game from behind the arc by the way). Davidson has a good shot beating Furman today and Cochran will have every chance to drop more from outside tonight.
7:00pm Saint Joseph's @ Richmond
7:00pm Tulane @ Marshall
7:00pm Binghamton @ Stony Brook
8:00pm St. Bonaventure @ Saint Louis - Last week, Andrew Nicholson had fouled out of the two wins against but still had a pair very good games. He went for 16, 6, 2 assists and 2 steals against Rhode Island and 14, 8, 3 assists and 2 steals against Richmond and both contests he played 26 minutes. I'm really curious to see how he plays tonight.
8:00pm Evansville @ Bradley
8:00pm UTEP @ Rice - Dylan Ennis has been playing great for Rice this year and had his first career double-double going for 10 points, 11 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals in 37 minutes in the 88-74 win over Tulane. With there being a bottleneck in the Conference USA standings and UTEP carrying the same record making this a pretty important match up.
8:00pm NC State @ Boston College
8:00pm Drake @ Indiana State - Kurt Alexander has come on in the last three games going for a season high 21 points against Northern Iowa and then following it up with 16 against a ranked Creighton and 17 against Wichita State. He's started the last two games so this could be another scoring outburst for him.
8:05pm Illinois State @ Creighton
8:30pm Cal Bakersfield @ New Mexico State - Hernst Laroche was held to 5 points after scoring in double figures the previous four games. I would think that he is up for a better game tonight against one of the last remaining independent teams in the NCAA. Tyrone Watson and Daniel Mullings have been playing well in supporting roles in the last few games and will likely be called upon pick up the slack with the team needing to continue their winning ways into the rest of the conference season.
8:30pm Minnesota @ Iowa
9:00pm Baylor @ Texas A&M
And here is where the women are playing at today ...
5:00pm Vermont @ Boston University
7:00pm James Madison @ Binghamton
7:00pm St. Bonaventure @ Duquesne - Duquesne is hosting one of the better of the Atlantic 10 women's teams in St. Bonaventure and this will be a huge test for the Dukes. Wumi Agunbiade has been the star for Duquesne and will be the player that the Bonnies will be focusing on stopping. She's be looking to have her 16 points and 6.7 rebounds to help her team stay undefeated at home but with the Bonnies being undefeated in conference play so this will be a great game to watch.
7:00pm Ball State @ Kent State
7:00pm Massachusetts @ Charlotte
7:00pm Akron @ Toledo
8:00pm Kansas State @ Texas
8:00pm Cincinnati @ Marquette - Marquette is riding a three game slide having played some very good Big East teams. Katherine Plouffe has been nothing but everything for the depleted Golden Eagles and is the team's leader in scoring, rebounding and steals. Cincinnati is pulling up the bottom of the conference right now making this a winnable game for Marquette.
8:00pm Seattle @ Milwaukee
8:00pm Texas A&M @ Texas Tech
8:00pm Denver @ Louisiana-Lafayette
9:00pm San Diego State @ Boise State
