Ok so six in a row.

No problem right?

The Toronto Raptors won two straight in somewhat surprising fashion, used that momentum to win two more against what we'd call, "lesser" clubs, and then in a bit of a litmus test, beat Orlando before Christmas to make it five in a row.

But as Sasha noted in his preview this morning, this is the real acid test.

The San Antonio Spurs are again one of the best teams in the league, and should prove to be not just a tough challenge, but one of the toughest the club will face all season. The Spurs are starting to mend while Toronto will again be without the services of Andrea Bargnani, and Kyle Lowry. From the Raps' PR folks via Twitter:

Medical staff wants Lowry to get in at least another practice before he returns. He will not dress for tonight game at SA.

However as we've seen of late, the absence of these two may indeed be a good thing and perhaps Toronto takes advantage of a San Antonio team, hung-over from too much turkey, and grabs win number six in a row.

Speaking of turkey, the bulk of the HQ team is tied up tonight with family holiday events so we won't be around to chat live. But for those of you who will be dropping by...

GO RAPS!
