The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Mar. 8

Today we have a big time Bonnie looking to get his team off on the right foot in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.  Find out who else is playing today right here ...

Marquee Matchup

5:00pm La Salle @ St. Bonaventure

This may be the first time in a while that St. Bonaventure has reason to be optimistic at the start of the Atlantic 10 Tournament.  Today the Bonnies open up against La Salle in the play in game and they have already taken down the Explorers once this season.  In that 82-61 win Feb. 12, Andrew Nicholson had 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks leading his team to the victory but you can bet that La Salle will not go quietly in this game.  La Salle hung in with Temple losing by only eight 90-82 in the defeat three days ago so you can bet that they are looking to take that out on the Bonnies.  Nicholson has been over 18 points and about 5 rebounds over the last five games and after being named to the Atlantic 10 First Team, you can be he’ll be looking to show why he earned that title in this one.  Also of note, Matthew Wright had 5 points, 3 rebounds and a season high 7 assists in the win over Rhode Island three days ago so look for him to contribute for the Bonnies early.

Here is where everyone else is playing …

7:00pm Saint Joseph’s vs. George WashingtonDwayne Smith has been the Robin on this George Washington team to whoever plays Batman that night.  He’s averaging 10 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the last three games in about 25 minutes a game.  Look for him contribute in this game early.

7:00pm Arkansas-Little Rock vs. North Texas

9:00pm Providence vs. MarquetteJunior Cadougan, after starting for the last few games, did not start in the tough loss against Seton Hall but he still managed 5 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 19 minutes of action.  I don’t know if he’ll start this game but he will be playing in it a lot I would expect.
