The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Mar. 30

Tonight, we have two huge games that feature Canadians looking for post season championships.  At least one Canuck will walk away with one for sure so check out who's playing ...

Marquee Matchup

8:00pm Santa Clara vs. Iona in the College Insider Tournament

This game is for all the marbles in the College Insider Tournament.  There will be a Canadian walking away with a post season championship title which makes this an exciting game.  Santa Clara's Marc Trasolini had come on as of late in the season and had even played great in the first two games of the CIT Tournament.  But in the last two games, Traz has only managed 10 points and 13 rebounds which are far cries from the 15.5 points, 11.5 rebounds he averaged against Northern Arizona and Air Force.  Iona's Randy Dezouvre has been steady off the bench in the last two games contributing 6 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  You can figure that Traz will have more to say about helping his team win this game since he plays a lot more than Dezouvre but you can bet that both teams will be going all out to get this last win of the year.

10:00pm Creighton vs. Oregon in the College Invitational Tournament

Jahenns Manigat has been a very solid freshman starter for Creighton and will no doubt be looking to build on his last performance that helped get the Blue Jays here.  In the first game against Oregon Monday, Manigat had 11 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals in 37 minutes.  With the championship only 40 minutes away, I would expect another great game from him if Oregon does adjust to defend him better tonight.
