The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb. 27

Today we have a Golden Eagle looking to take come down on some Friars.  Find out where everyone else is playing today right here ...

Marquee Matchup

4:00pm Providence @ Marquette

Marquette is looking like a possible NCAA At-Large team of late, especially with wins against Seton Hall and Connecticut in their last two games among other quality Big East wins.  In those last two big victories, Junior Cadougan was in the starting lineup and he’ll likely be in the starting lineup today against a very, very tough Providence team.  Though he’s been playing less than 20 minutes a game in the last two, he’s been providing 4.5 points and 4 assists as well as some very solid defense.  It doesn’t really matter as two what prompted the shift o Cadougan to the starting five but the key thing is that he’s seems comfortable in this new role and it hasn’t altered his game.  Since beating Louisville and Villanova in back-t0-back games, the Friars have been lost five of their last seven and will be looking to get this win.  Junior will have his hands full if he’ll be defending Vincent Council who’ll likely be the player that will be running the opposing offense.  Look for this to be a great game to gauge Cadougan’s progress to this point in his career.

And here is where everyone else is playing today …

2:00pm Albany @ Maine

2:00pm Manhattan @ Niagara – Eric Williams continues to be a spot minute starter for Niagara having started the last five games but only average 16 minutes a game.  He’s averaging 6.4 points and 3 rebounds in his time but he’s shooting 12-of-18 from the floor (85.7%) and 7-of-10 from the line which shows he’s efficient.  This could be a breakout game for Williams or just another uneventful 10 minutes shift.

2:00pm Loyola (MD) @ Canisius

2:00pm Binghamton @ Stony Brook

3:00pm New Hampshire @ Hartford

3:30pm Fairfield @ Iona
