The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb. 21

Today Marquee Matchup has the Orange looking to crush the Wildcats in their den.  Find out where everyone else is playing tonight right here ...

Marquee Matchup

7:00pm Syracuse @ Villanova

After two tough losses, Syracuse came back last week to bounce West Virginia and Rutgers and both those teams already have upsets notched on their records.  The Orange now take on a Villanova team that has its sights squarely set on the Sweet Sixteen, or further, and this will be the first of two tough games to end their regular season.  Kris Joseph has been very good in the last two wins averaging 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal in 38.5 minutes of action.  He’s also shooting 50% (9-of-18) from the floor and 4-of-7 from the three so he looks primed for the post season right now.  Having already lost to ‘Nova earlier this season, you can bet the Joseph will look to be putting another Herculean effort to get this win.

And here is where everyone else is playing tonight …

7:00pm Western Carolina @ UNC GreensboroHarouna Mutombo seems to be getting into his groove finally and is looking very good right now Western Carolina.  After being inserted into the starting lineup, he’s really been playing well.  He’s averaging 12 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and a steal over the last seven games and has played a season high in minutes each of the last three games (33, 34 and 35).  With first place on the line for the Catamounts, you can bet Mutombo will be looking to continue his play tonight.

7:00pm Ark-Pine Bluff @ Prairie View A&M

8:00pm Delaware @ Coppin State

9:00pm Alabama State @ Alcorn State – In the last four games, Dwayne Harvey has been playing well in limited minutes for Alabama State.  In 12.5 minutes, he’s been averaging 3.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.  Harvey is currently the team’s second leading assist man so expect something from him in this game.
