The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 8

Today we have the freshman sensation I'll dub the Maine Event taking his game to Storrs to try and tame some Huskies. Find out who else is playing where tonight right here ...

Marquee Match Up

Remember that you can find the full list of players playing in Division 1 right here.

7:30pm Maine @ Notre Dame

So what we have here is a great match up tonight that pits a young gun Canadian kid against a wily and experienced Notre Dame team. Well, not exactly but pretty close though. Notre Dame is coming of a spanking embarrassment of a loss to Gonzaga and a tight loss to Maryland so they will be out for blood against Maine. On the Black Bears’ side, they have freshman sensation Justin Edwards who’s looking like a star on the rise. He is the only frosh to win the America East Rookie of the Week award this season so far (three straight and counting) and he is definitely not afraid of the big school. He did hang 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting on UConn earlier this season and he could do the same against the Fighting Irish too. He’s a rare three way player that can get it done on all ends and with senior Gerald McLemore averaging 20.5 points to Edwards’ 20.3, Justin should have ample space to get to the rim or take the open jumper. You will want to watch this game for sure.

And here are where the rest of the men are playing tonight …

7:00pm South Dakota @ Canisius

7:00pm Cleveland State @ Robert Morris

7:00pm Harvard @ Connecticut – A ranked Harvard team will take on UConn and on top of that Laurent Rivard is coming on at the perfect time having scored in double figures in two straight games. Remember, last season he did put up big numbers like the 15 points against Michigan and the career high 23 against Boston College. The question is can he do it against UConn?

7:30pm Western Michigan @ Detroit

9:05pm Eastern Michigan @ Drake

And here is where the women’s are playing tonight …

5:00pm Michigan @ Detroit

6:05pm North Dakota State @ Drake – Dani DeGagne led North Dakota State with 18 points in the Bison’s loss to Western Illinois last week. She’s been a little up and down with her scoring and her team will likely need it against Drake.

7:00pm Green Bay @ Toledo – It looks like rookie Megan Lukan is coming off back-to-back double digit scoring games and is currently on a three game stretch where she’s playing over 30 minutes off the bench. She’s been playing well of late and she will be given her first starting nod of her collegiate career.

8:05pm Creighton @ Nebraska

9:00pm Denver @ Colorado

9:00pm Southern Utah @ BYU

9:00pm Weber State @ Utah Valley
