The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 31

Hey people, can you believe that we are at the end of 2011 and we have a pretty big day in basketball. We have lots of games like Gonzaga taking on Xavier and Oregon taking on Washington as well as the ladies in the afternoon taking you into the night to start your New Year's celebration off with a dunk and a crossover ...

Remember that you can find the full list of players playing in Division 1 right here.

12:00pm St. John's @ Kentucky

12:00pm St. Francis (PA) @ Drexel

1:00pm Mississippi Valley State @ Iowa State

1:00pm Colgate @ New Hampshire

1:00pm Lehigh @ Bryant University

1:05pm Bradley @ Indiana State

2:00pm Arkansas-Pine Bluff @ New Mexico State - The duo of Hernst Laroche and Christian Kabongo have been playing the twin Robins to Wendell McKines' Batman and have been big in the last few games. Reserves Tyrone Watson and Daniel Mullings have also found spots in the regular rotation and Mullings in particular has been increasing his production. This contest is a one to watch for sure.

2:00pm Idaho @ Boise State

2:00pm Western Kentucky @ North Carolina State

2:00pm Rice @ Texas - This will be a great game to catch. Myck Kabongo has sandwiched a great game against Temple (18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists in 32 minutes) before Texas' game against North Carolina last week where he was kept to 1 point and 1 assist in 15 minutes. Let's see if he can bounce back against Rice, who is riding a two game winning streak now.

2:00pm Youngstown State @ Cleveland State

2:00pm Cornell @ Bucknell

2:00pm Tennessee State @ Eastern Kentucky

2:00pm Detroit @ Loyola (IL)

3:00pm Delaware State @ George Washington

3:05pm Drake @ Missouri State

4:00pm UCLA @ California

4:00pm North Dakota @ Kansas

4:00pm Saint Joseph's @ Harvard - Harvard's Laurent Rivard had 18 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 28 minutes in the win against Boston College two nights ago. He should be looking to gun tonight, especially since he's now the team's leading scorer.

5:00pm Tennessee Tech @ Tennessee-Martin

5:30pm Arizona State @ Arizona

6:00pm Creighton @ Wichita State

6:00pm Saint Louis @ New Mexico

6:00pm Arkansas-Little Rock @ Denver

6:30pm USC @ Stanford

8:00pm Gonzaga @ Xavier - This is the big game to end 2011 for Gonzaga. Xavier is bouncing back nicely since the three game losing streak post scuffle looking to make it a two game run. The Zags' Kevin Pangos will be heading up against one of the premier guards in the country in Tu Halloway. Pangos has been playing great all season and this will be his biggest challenge, likely for the season. Xavier's Kenny Frease will be a handful for Rob Sacre and I'm hoping that he is up for the challenge.

9:35pm Northern Arizona @ Northern Colorado

10:00pm Oregon @ Washington - Devoe Joseph is playing great for Oregon, to the tune of 14.7 points, 3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals. ‘Nuff said. Olu Ashaolu had his best game of the season in the Ducks blowout win over Washington State two nights ago. Olu went for 23 points and 10 rebounds and here's hoping he continues on this roll in Washington.

And here is where the ladies are playing today ... (Sorry guys, with the festivities of the New Year pulling me away from my computer, I again regret having to short change the ladies here. I have highlighted the games you should make an effort to check out. I still love the ladies.)

12:00pm Marquette @ Toledo

12:30pm Colgate @ Syracuse

1:00pm Bucknell @ Mount St Mary's
