The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 30

With the new year only one day away, we have some great action to close out 2011. Check out what we have today including the Bonnies and their new three headed Canadian attack and a whole lot more right here ...

Remember that you can find the full list of players playing in Division 1 right here.

4:00pm UNC Greensboro @ Richmond

4:30pm Northeastern @ Vermont

7:00pm St. Bonaventure @ Niagara - St. Bonaventure is 3-1 in their last four games and outside of the last second shot that sunk the Bonnies Dec. 20 against NC State, all the wins have been blowouts. In the last win against St. Francis (PA), Andrew Nicholson only played 9 minutes thanks to foul trouble and had 7 points and 2 rebounds. On the upside, both Matthew Wright and Chris Johnson had great games combining for 34 points. The trio should be a three headed monster tonight against a weaker Niagara team that has just broken their last losing streak with a win over UMBC two days prior.

7:00pm Manhattan @ Binghamton

7:00pm Missouri @ Old Dominion

7:00pm NJIT @ Long Island

7:00pm Rider @ Stony Brook

8:00pm Texas Southern @ Arkansas

8:00pm Oral Roberts @ South Dakota

8:00pm IPFW @ South Dakota State - South Dakota State's Taevaunn Prince has had some big outbursts this season and despite three lackluster games of late, today could be another outburst game.

9:00pm Coppin State vs. Nebraska Omaha

9:00pm Southeastern Louisiana @ Texas Tech

And here is where the women are playing today ...

4:00pm Villanova @ Monmouth

4:30pm Bryant @ Columbia - Bryant's Naana Ankoma-Mensa has been a rebounding machine of late and managed to grab 12 rebounds against Central Connecticut State two days ago. She's almost averaging a double-double on the season and is right now sitting on 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds.

5:00pm James Madison vs. Rhode Island

5:00pm La Salle vs. Vermont - Vermont's Lauren Buschmann had a double-double last night against the 15th ranked Georgetown Hoyas going for 13 pts, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blks and a steal in 35 minutes. What will she have left for La Salle?

5:30pm Kent State @ Bethune-Cookman

6:00pm FGCU vs. Alcorn State

7:00pm Notre Dame @ Mercer - In Natalie Achonwa's last four games, she's averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, a steal and a block in 17.8 minutes off the bench for Notre Dame. With this being a likely blowout, I would expect Achonwa to get lots of minutes here.

7:00pm Nebraska @ Penn State

7:00pm Minnesota @ Purdue

7:00pm Western Michigan @ American University

7:00pm Howard @ Fairleigh Dickinson

7:00pm Chicago State @ Akron

7:30pm Richmond @ Lehigh

8:00pm Michigan @ Illinois

9:30pm North Carolina State @ Hawaii

10:00pm Long Island vs. Oklahoma

10:00pm Texas Tech @ San Diego - Texas Tech's Christine Hyde has been playing well in December and should be a key in this game for the Red Raiders. Conversely, San Diego's Canadian Felicia Wejinberg has also been playing well of late so this could be a good individual battle.
