The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 15

Tonight we have a beat up Gonzaga team taking on Oral Roberts and return to their winning ways before a pair of tough non-conference road games. Find out where everyone else is playing right here ...

9:00pm Oral Roberts @ Gonzaga

After starting off the season on a five game winning streak, Gonzaga has run into the brick wall of the high major program. They started off December with a tough loss to Illinois in Champaign and then follow that up with another seven point loss to a surging Michigan State team at home. Tonight, the Zags will look to get back to winning against Oral Roberts before they head into Arizona for the weekend. Rob Sacre has been great all season averaging career highs in both points and rebounds and outside of the game against Illinois, he’s shown that he can play big with anyone, particularly on the glass. Kevin Pangos on the other hand has been on a downslide somewhat. In his last five games Pangos has been averaging 9.8 points on 17-of-40 shooting including 7-20 from the three. They are a far cry from his breakout 33 point game but not terrible either. Pangos may be settling into a role now and with others stepping up nightly, his shot attempts are not as consistent. Maybe this game can get both Canadians back on track and help Gonzaga get some confidence before they head into Tucson when they tackle with Arizona.

And here is where the rest of the men are playing tonight …

7:00pm Bradley @ George Washington– Since coming back to the lineup from an early season injury, George Washington’s Dwayne Smith is not getting the minutes he did as a starter last season. He’s only broke double digits floor time twice in his seven games so far and that says a lot since he used to start. The good news is that in 12 minutes Saturday against Syracuse, Smith scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Maybe this is a sign of things to come. As a side note, Bradley’s Shayok Shayok has been on a roller coaster ride in the last five games playing anywhere from 26 minutes to two all while starting. I thing the over/under for him tonight should be under 10 minutes with the start.

8:00pm Kennesaw State @ Missouri

8:00pm UC Irvine @ LSU

8:00pm South Dakota State @ North DakotaTaevaunn Prince is currently riding a three game double digit scoring streak averaging 14.3 points and 4 boards. He’s been playing well when given the time so let’s see if he gets time tonight.

And here is where the ladies are playing …

2:00pm Wyoming @ Weber State
