Tonight we have a comeback kid looking to lead Marquette over Jacksonville in a more subdued Monday night of NC-Double-Eh action ...
Marquee Match Up
8:00pm Jacksonville @ Marquette
Without a truce center, Marquette is playing incredibly well and it happens to coincide with Junior Cadougan also playing well at the lead spot. Through the first five games, he’s averaging a very efficient 6.4 assists in 26.8 minutes. That says a lot of his role now considering that in 19 minutes last year he was averaging had the amount of dimes. He’s not shooting the ball particularly well at .387 from the field but then again he really isn’t needed to contribute a whole of offense since Lamar Johnson-Odom and Jae Crowder are their primary guns, at least not right now. I don’t expect Jacksonville to put up a very big fight in Milwaukee so expect the Golden Eagles to take this one handily. It has been seven days since the near upset to Norfolk State on last Monday and you can bet that they don’t want another one of those games in the books.

And here are where the rest of the men are playing tonight …
7:00pm Long Island @ Iona
7:00pm Quinnipiac @ Lehigh
7:00pm Niagara @ St. Francis (PA)
8:30pm Tabor College @ South Dakota
10:00pm Pacific @ Stanford – In what was supposed to be a breakout season, Dwight Powell has been stunted of sorts. The ankle injury he’s suffered just before the first game has set him back a bit and at the moment it’s looking like he’s not only working himself back into rhythm but also into the rotation. He played a solid two games in New York City this past weekend against Oklahoma State and then Syracuse ( 4.5 pts, 4.5 rbs, 2 asts, and 2 stls in 18 mpg) but seems like he could be playing better. After a few days of rest let’s see how he does in this home game.
10:30pm McNeese State @ California
And now for the ladies tonight …
We have no Canadian ladies playing tonight. Must be a hair and nails things (joking).
