The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Nov. 24

OK, so the schedule is going up a lot earlier than it usually is because with the American Thanksgiving comes the start of Thanksgiving Tournaments.  For all of you at work, there are some games that you and most of Canada will miss but the good news is that we have a great game on tap for when you get home starring the NC-Double-Eh team with the most Canucks on the roster ...

Marquee Match Up

10:30pm Central Michigan vs. New Mexico State

The New Mexico State Aggies are taking their 3-0 record to Alaska for the Great Alaska Shootout and are looking to face Central Michigan.  The loss of Tony Gillenwater only opened the door for Wendell McKines to be the new star but that doesn’t mean that the Canucks aren’t contributing.  Christian Kabongo and Hernst Laroche are averaging 13 points and 12 points respectively as well as a combined 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals.  Tyrone Watson and Daniel Mullings are also providing help on both ends.  All this means it that you’ll see four Canadians, possibly five if Renaldo Dixon see time, playing tonight on the same team.  It’s not an instance that happens often and is worth the effort to watch.

And here is when the rest of the men are playing today …

12:00pm Texas Tech vs. Indiana State – After his big outburst to begin his Division 1 career, Ty Nurse has cooled down of sorts but he’s still shooting the lights out.  He’s averaging 19.5 points over three games and he’ll look to continue his shooting streak against the Indiana State Sycamores.  Both teams have played in close games already so if this is a close one, it may come down to how hot Nurse is.

2:30pm Minnesota vs. DePaul

9:00pm New Mexico vs. Santa Clara

9:30pm Harvard vs. Utah – Harvard is riding a three game winning streak and Laurent Rivard is continuing his hot shooting from last season.  He’s gone off for a 16 point and a 20 point game over the last three but he also had a 2 point game as well.  This new look PAC-12 Utah team may not be the Utes of old, but they will look to give the Crimson a good fight.

9:30pm Arizona State vs. Fairfield

12:30pm UC Irvine vs. Southern Mississippi

And now for the ladies …

5:30pm Illinois vs. Green Bay – Megan Lukan is playing a vital role off the bench for the Green Bay Phoenix.  She been coming off the bench for 24 minutes and is contributing 4.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals helping the Phoenix to a 3-0 record.  Let’s see what she can do today in the team’s opener of the San Juan Shootout.

5:45pm Michigan vs. Prairie View A&M

7:00pm Weber State @ Oregon

8:00pm Marquette vs. Washington State – Katherine Plouffe has been a do-it-all player so far for Marquette.  She’s averaging 13.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2 steals which are all good for second on the team.  She will be worth watching for sure as the Golden Eagles open up their Paradise Jam against a tough Washington State squad.

9:00pm South Dakota State vs. Cincinnati
