The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Nov. 21

Today we have a match up of two very good point guards on two very good teams this evening and it will be one you will want to catch, even if you have to leave work a little early.  Find out who else is playing tonight right here ...

Marquee  Match Up

6:30pm Texas vs. North Carolina State

This should be an epic battle.  Not so much of the teams though both are very good but of the point guards.  We have Toronto natives Myck Kabongo and Alex Johnson going head-to-head here.  Johnson, the savvy vet from NC State and Kabongo, the slick young lightning bolt from Texas, should be matched up early on and this could be very exciting.  Both play heavy minutes for their respective teams and should be key factors to any victory.  They play opposite games (Johnson is more shooter while Kabongo more penetrator) but they are both primary ball handlers and watching them work against each other on defense should be a treat.

And here are the rest of the men’s games tonight …

4:30pm Niagara vs. South Dakota State– Toronto’s Taevaunn Princehas come on strong through South Dakota State’s first three games posting big numbers off the bench.  He dropped 13 points against both Minnesota and Georgia last week and is currently the team’s leading rebounder at 7.7 a game and second in scoring at 9.0 per.  He should be someone to keep an eye on in the early going for sure.

5:00pm Detroit vs. George Washington

7:00pm Howard @ Rider

7:00pm St. Bonaventure @ Siena– There have been a few days for St. Bonaventure to regroup after that tight loss to Cleveland St Friday night which saw Andrew Nicholson foul out.  Nicholson is playing well to this point putting up 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks through two contests.  Look for him and Canadian teammate Matthew Wrightto have big outings here against a Siena team looking for its third strong win of the year.

7:30pm Missouri vs. Notre Dame

8:00pm Mount St. Mary’s @ Minnesota

8:15pm Presbyterian @ Davidson

8:30pm Norfolk St vs. Marquette– This will be Marquette’s first back-to-back this season and it will be interesting to see how Junior Cadougan plays here in game two of the Paradise Jam.  He registered 30 minutes in last night’s game against Ole Miss where he registered 8 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds so let’s see what he has left in the tank for tonight.

9:45pm California vs. Georgia

And now for the ladies …

6:00pm Canisius @ Maryland-Eastern Shore– There are a total of six Canadians in this game and Canisius’ Jamie Ruttle looks like she can be star in the MAAC.  This game is definitely more bang for your buck.

8:05pm Savannah State @ Nebraska– Senior Kaitlin Burke is playing modest minutes but starting all the games and putting up modest numbers.  She may have another solid game in this match.
