The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Nov. 20

Today we have a new look Blue Jay looking to help his team defeat a pack of Hawkeyes in their home nest.  Find out who else is playing today right here in a tournament wrap up Sunday ...

Marquee Match Up

4:00pm Creighton vs. Iowa– After starting off the season sizzling for Creighton, Jahenns Manigat cooled off somewhat Wednesday when the Blue Jays played UAB.  In the win, Manigat was held to 6 points but he did also get 2 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist.  Going up against a good Iowa Hawkeyes team, it should be interesting to see what he can do on both ends of the floor when he will be a focal point of the opposition.

And for the rest of the men …

12:00pm Old Dominion vs. KentuckyKyle Wiltjer had a great game in a blowout yesterday putting up 19 points.  The rotation for the Wildcats has seemed to be Kyle sits every second game.  Well this is the second game so we’ll see how much he plays today, even if it’s a laugher.

1:30pm Western Carolina @ Iowa State– This will be a good game to check out.  Western Carolina has Harouna Mutombo and Keaton Cole who have been looking really good early this season.  Iowa State’s Melvin Ejim on the hand is dealing with reduced role syndrome in the new look Cyclones scheme.  Whatever happens, it’s always nice to see Canadians playing major minutes against each other.

2:00pm Iona vs. Maryland

2:00pm Boston University @ Cornell

3:00pm Nebraska-Omaha @ South Dakota

3:00pm Eastern Kentucky vs. Lehigh

3:00pm Stephen F. Austin @ Texas TechTy Nurse is averaging 22 points in his first two games with Texas Tech.  Why wouldn’t you want to check this game out???

4:00pm Eastern Michigan @ IUPUI

4:00pm Maryland-Eastern Shore @ Rice– I can’t even lie, Dylan Ennis surprised me in his first two games.  He’s averaging 11 points, 5 boards, 2 dimes and 2.5 steals in 18.5 minutes of action.  I want to see more of him.

5:00pm Southeast Missouri State @ Oregon– Olu Ashaolu has been a little on the slow side to get started for Oregon so far this season.  He’s been having some less than Olu games likely due to his being in foul trouble early in the games.  He’s averaged four fouls in both the games the team’s played so and I think that if he can keep his fouls down early in this game, we could see old Olu.

6:00pm Arkansas-Little Rock @ Michigan State

6:00pm Northern Colorado @ Northern Iowa

7:00pm Binghamton @ St. Peter’s

8:30pm Ole Miss vs. MarquetteJunior Cadougan isn’t shooting the ball particularly well but he’s passing the ball a whole lot.  It should be fun watching him play against his first real high major team this season in Ole Miss.  They may not be the best out of the SEC but they’ll definitely test him early.

10:00pm Washington State @ Portland– Nem Mitrovic was held to single digit scoring for the first time this season this past Monday when the Pilots played Washington.  Let’s see if he has better luck against Washington State.

And now for the ladies …

2:00pm Notre Dame @ Baylor

2:00pm Michigan @ Seton Hall

3:00pm Utah @ Arkansas– In here first two games back after missing last season with a knee injury, Taryn Wicijowski is averaging a double-double - 18 points, 10.5 rebounds – in just over 27 minutes a game.  Canadian teammate Michelle Plouffe is just missing averaging a double-double going for 9 points and 8 rebounds in her 24 minutes of action in the last two contest.  Both these ladies are worth watching today.

3:00pm Alcorn State @ Texas

3:00pm Duquesne @ North Dakota

3:00pm Washington State @ South Dakota State

4:00pm Colorado @ Colorado State

5:00pm Pepperdine @ Boise State– Diana Lee is playing well for the yet undefeated Broncos where she’s averaging an efficient 9.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal in just over 27 minutes of action.

8:00pm San Diego State vs. Portland

10:00pm Southern Utah @ Oregon State
