The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Nov. 16

Tonight we have a whole lot of Canadians playing but we're featuring a team that can field a Canuck starting five.  Find out who else is playing tonight right here ...

Marquee Match Up

10:00pm New Mexico State @ New Mexico

Of the five Canadians on the roster, only one didn’t  register a stat in his playing time.  But the four that did accounted for just over half the total points the Aggies scored (46 of the 89) and 13 of the 17 total assists.  Christian Kabongo led the way with 20 points, 2 boards and 2 assists while Hernst Laroche followed with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Toronto’s Daniel Mullings had a big debut going for 9 points, 2 off the glass, 3 assists and 3 steals.  In this battle of New Mexico, look for the same from the Canadian contingent and more production from Tyrone Watson.

And for the rest of the men …

7:00pm Long Island @ Penn State

7:30pm North Carolina Central @ Wagner– Tyler Murray had a pretty tough game against UConn on Monday only taking seven shots and not making a free throw attempt in his 34 minutes.  I would think that against a weaker North Carolina Central he’ll be back to his old self.

8:00pm Southeast Missouri State @ Bradley

8:00pm Creighton @ UABJahenns Manigat is the perfect compliment to the inside game of Doug McDermott and is quickly becoming a leader on this Blue Jays team.  He’s averaging 16.5 over his last two games and against a UAB team that will likely compete for an NCAA bid in March it will interesting to see if he can play with these big boys early.

8:00pm Oakland @ Arkansas

8:00pm North Texas @ Texas Tech– In the first game of the season, Ty Nurse dropped 29 points on a blistering 9-of-13 shooting including 6-of-9 from the arc.  I wonder what he’ll do for an encore.

9:00pm Long Beach State @ Pitt

And now for the ladies …

8:00pm Toledo @ Green Bay– Former Junior National teamer Megan Lukan was a was solid in her first official game as a member of the Green Bay Phoenix going for 5 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and a block in 17 productive minutes.  She could be playing a bigger role as the season goes on but it’s always nice to see them develop and this is one of those games.

5:00pm Columbia @ Wagner

7:00pm Seton Hall @ New Hampshire

7:00pm Providence @ Rhode Island

7:00pm Central Connecticut State @ Massachusetts

7:00pm Dayton @ Cincinnati

7:00pm Cleveland St. @ Fordham

7:00pm Lehigh @ Sacred Heart

7:00pm Fairleigh Dickinson @ NJIT

8:00pm Texas Tech @ Houston

8:00pm Colorado @ Texas A&M-CC

8:00pm BYU @ Kansas State

9:00pm Weber State @ Utah State

10:00pm Seattle U @ Washington– Elle Kerfoot didn’t have the best shooting game this past Sunday against UC Davis going for 3-of-13 from the floor, 2-of-10 from the trey, so look for her to get that fixed for this contest.  With the Huskies likely looking to train their sights on former PAC-12 player Talisa Rhea, that could open better looks for Kerfoot from deep.
