NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Nov. 13

Today we have some great first games of the year including Myck Kabongo's debut in burnt orange, Kayla Alexander with the Orange and the Utah tandem of Taryn Wicijowski and Michelle Plouffe and a whole lot more action ...

Marquee Matchup

7:00pm Boston University @ Texas

It’s safe to say that this will be the big game that all the Canadians eyes will want to watch.  Myck Kabongo makes his college debut and it should be an exciting game to watch.  I would think that Myck is the starter at the point and with a team that is low on bulky big men, Barnes will likely have a running game in place and in full swing and Myck sure thrives in a running game.  If you only can watch one game today, this is that game to plant yourself in front of the TV for.

And we have the men …

2:00pm Tennessee-Martin @ Ohio

3:00pm Southeastern Louisiana @ Ark-Little Rock

3:05pm Chicago State @ Creighton

4:00pm Jacksonville State @ Marshall

5:00pm UMKC @ Bradley

5:30pm Georgia State vs. Portland – The season started off well for the two Canucks on the Portland roster.  Nem Mitrovic had 18 pts and 8 rebs while Riley Barker had 4 pts and 3 rebs in the Pilots’ 70-65 win over Florida Atlantic last night.  Will there be anything in the tank for today?  It will be interesting to see.

6:00pm Morehead State @ North Carolina StateAlex Johnson had a good game this past Friday in NC State’s win over UNC-Asheville.  He didn’t start but he did play 33 minutes in the 84-75 victory.  Will he start today?  It’s very possible.

6:00pm Rider @ PittKhem Birch played some minutes in the Pitt win on Friday over Albany but didn’t really do much in the stat sheet.  Could this be the game that he comes out?  Junior Fortunat didn’t play for Rider in their loss to Robert Morris Friday so this could be his debut.

7:00pm Jackson State @ Baylor – Let’s see if Brady Heslip will get the green light for Baylor tonight after his modest 8 points on Friday against Texas Southern.

9:30pm George Washington @ California

And the women …

2:00pm Indiana State @ Notre Dame

1:00pm Long Beach State @ Syracuse – This will be the first game of the year for Kayla Alexander who is vying for another Big East First Team award.

1:00pm Pacific @ Fairfield

2:00pm Maine @ Rhode Island

2:00pm North Carolina-Wilmington vs. Washington State

2:00pm Illinois @ Cleveland State

2:00pm Lehigh @ Saint Joseph’s

2:00pm Winthrop @ Troy

3:00pm Western Michigan @ Kansas

3:00pm UMBC @ Monmouth

3:00pm Creighton @ North Dakota State

3:00pm Utah State @ South Dakota State

4:00pm Weber State @ Boise State

4:30pm South Florida vs. Minnesota

5:00pm Southern Utah @ Utah – The return of Taryn Wicijowski to the lineup after a year off due to injury and Michelle Plouffe moving to the wing will make this  an interesting game to watch.

5:00pm Navy @ Loyola (MD)

5:00pm UC Irvine @ Portland

5:00pm UC –Santa Barbara @ Portland State

5:00pm UC Davis @ Seattle U – Elle Kerfoot’s role may have shifted a little to start the season but she will still be fun to watch with former All Pac-10 player Talisa Rhea as the one receiving Kerfoot’s passes.
