On a big game day our Marquee Match Up features a rising Seahawk looking to swoop in on the Colonials. Find out where every one else is playing tonight right here ...
Marquee Match Up
7:00pm Robert Morris @ Wagner
Tyler Murray dropped a career high 28 points in the win over Quinnipiac three days ago and continues to be the lone bright spot for Wagner this season. The best part about his 28 points is that it only took him ten shots from the field to do it and he also had a career high 11 free throw attempts while tying a career high 9 free throw makes. After his 4 point outing three games ago Murray has scored 17 and 28 points and seems to be poised for a breakout. He’s looking more and more like a star on the rise in the Northeast Conference and taking his game against Robert Morris and having another game like the one against Quinnipiac may prove it. Robert Morris’ Canadian forward Yann Charles has been starting all season and has been providing tough rebounding and defense for the Colonials.
And here is where the other players are playing tonight …
7:00pm St. Francis (PA) @ Mount St. Mary’s
7:00pm St. Francis (NY) @ Central Connecticut State
7:00pm Charleston Southern @ Liberty
7:00pm Long Island @ Bryant University – After coming off a 0 point and 3 rebound effort against NJIT before the New Year he went for his first double-double of the season going for 15 and 11 against Navy. After his 20 points, 8 rebound to start December, he’s been a little inconsistent. Johnson has started off the New Year better than he ended it so maybe he’ll post another double-double tonight.
7:00pm Western Illinois @ IPFW
7:30pm Jacksonville State @ Eastern Kentucky – After playing sporadically throughout the season, Jabs Newby had 8 pts, 10 assists and 3 steals in 29 minutes in the Eastern Kentucky win over Georgia Southern this past weekend. I wonder what kind of performance he’ll have tonight.
7:45pm Tennessee Tech @ Morehead State
8:00pm Fresno State @ Louisiana Tech – After a string of four straight double-doubles, Olu Ashaolu had 9 points and 8 rebounds in the loss to Idaho on New Year’s Eve. That loss was the third straight loss for Louisiana Tech. Ashaolu has had big games to help snap losing streaks this season so watch out for him tonight.
8:00pm Detroit @ Loyola (IL)
8:30pm Stanford @ Arizona State – After a string of coming off the bench and single digit scoring games, Dwight Powell drops 20 points, 7 rebounds and 2 asts on Cal to kick off his New Year. After that game, will he be inserted back into the starting lineup?
10:30pm Cal @ Arizona
