Today's Marquee Match Up features three Bulldogs trying to withstand the Gaels as they try to end their losing streak.  Find out where everyone else is playing tonigh right here ...

Marquee Match Up

11:00pm Saint Mary’s @ Gonzaga

Gonzaga has been nothing short of enigmatic all season and the last two games are perfect examples of this.  They beat Baylor, Xavier, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest and then loss back to back games against Santa Clara and San Francisco in conference play.  You can relate the wins and losses to the individual parts but in the last two games, Rob Sacre has been nothing short of great.  He’s averaging 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2 blocks in the losses and is looking like the player that we thought he could be last season.  Kelly Olynyk has seen inconsistent floor time so his production fluctuates with that.  Manny Arop on the hand has been getting around 20 minutes a game and his production has been frustratingly inconsistent.  With a second three game losing streak staring the team in the mouth, look for all three to put their best effort forward.  They have done so against opponents like this very, very good Saint Mary’s squad so it should be a battle.

And here is where everyone else is playing tonight …

7:00pm Long Island @ Fairleigh Dickinson

7:00pm Robert Morris @ Quinnipiac

7:00pm St. Francis (PA) @ Sacred Heart

7:00pm Furman @ Western Carolina

7:00pm Wagner @ Bryant University – Tyler Murray is working on straight 13 point games, very unlike him. But he did have 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in both those games showing that he is contributing in other areas when his scoring is down.  Don’t expect the 13 point games to continue here for Murray, even if Bryant is hanging in around the same record as Wagner.  He’s due for an outburst pretty soon I think.

7:00pm Centenary @IPFW

7:30pm Rider @ Iona

7:45pm St. Francis (NY) @ Monmouth

8:00pm Cleveland State @ Illinois-Chicago

8:00pm Austin Peay @ Eastern Kentucky

8:00pm Idaho @ Louisiana Tech – After three good games, Olu Ashaolu comes out and has a spectacular game last Saturday against Nevada.  Even though Louisiana Tech lost the game, Ashaolu had 26 points and a season high 17 rebounds in 34 minutes.  Now I’m not saying he’ll have though kind of numbers tonight but you just never know with him.

8:00pm Elon @ Samford

8:30pm USC @ Arizona State

9:00pm Boise State @ New Mexico State – New Mexico State is on a two game slide right now but a win here would be huge for them.  Of the four Canadians on the roster, both Hernst Laroche and Tyrone Watson have been playing the most consistent the last few games.  Laroche is averaging just over 10 points a game and 5 assists in the last four games while Watson is averaging 5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists.  Christian Kabongo is still the team’s third leading scorer but hasn’t hit double figures scoring since Jan. 15 when the Aggies beat San Jose State.  Look for all three to put forth to try and get this win over Boise State.

9:00pm Tennessee Tech @ Eastern Illinois

10:00pm Oregon @ Stanford

10:00pm San Diego @ Portland – Toronto’s Nem Mitrovic was held to 2 points on 1-of-4 shooting in Portland’s 72-59 loss to Santa Clara this past Saturday.  That marked the end of his seven game double digit scoring streak and with him not making a three this also marked the end of an 11 game streak where he made at least on triple.  Portland is riding a two game losing streak so look for Mitrovic and the Pilots to take out their frustrations on San Diego.

10:05pm Cal Northridge @ UC Irvine

10:30pm Santa Clara @ Pepperdine – Santa Clara is coming off beating both Gonzaga and Portland in the same week.  Marc Trasolini was reinserted into the starting line and he’s looked good thus far.  He posted 14 points, 7 rebounds, an assist, 2 steals and a block in that win over Portland so expect him to be riding that high into this game against Pepperdine.

11:00pm Oregon State @ Cal
