The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Jan. 25

Tonight's Marquee Match Up features the Orange trying to crush a team of Pirates.  Find out who else is playing tonight ...

Marquee Match Up

7:00pm Seton Hall @ Syracuse

Kris Joseph came back from what was apparently a concussion-like injury this past Saturday to post his fifth 20+ point game in the ‘Cuse’s loss to Villanova this past Saturday.  That home loss was the second in a row for the Orange who were knocked out of the Top 5 because of it.  Tonight Joseph and the Orange take on a Seton Hall team that is better than their 8-12 record indicates.  With their top scorer Jeremy Hazell back from injury and the team playing good enough to win against any opponent they face this will be a very tough match up for Syracuse.  For the Orange, if they lose this game it is an upset of sorts but if they win they were supposed to.  Joseph had a good overall game Saturday dropping 24 points (including 4 threes), 3 boards, 2 assists, a steal and 2 blocks in 34 minutes seemingly feeling no ill effects from his head injury.  He’ll likely be playing heavy minutes in this game tonight unless the Orange somehow blowout the Wildcats.

And here is where everyone else is playing tonight …

7:00pm New Hampshire @ Maine

7:00pm Richmond @ Dayton

8:00pm Belmont @ Lipscomb

8:05pm Missouri State @ Drake

9:00pm Auburn @ Arkansas

9:00pm Connecticut @ Marquette – I had said a couple of days ago that Junior Cadougan has been on a roll recently in his limited minutes in the last few games and he continues to be on one.  In the loss to Notre Dame three days ago Cadougan scored for the third straight game after three scoreless ones and is averaging 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals in 22 minutes.  I wonder how he’ll stack up against Kemba Walker tonight.

10:00pm Cal Fullerton @ Cal BakersfieldAlex Johnson once was leading the NCAAs in threes made this season but in his team’s last game against San Diego, he managed to not make one, or even a field goal for that matter. Johnson is a gunner and will fill the basket up if given the open look so this game against Cal Fullerton will be one to keep an eye on.
