In what I would like to call Monday Night Lite, we have a championship game featured for you. Tonight the Zags are looking to punch their ticket to the Tournament if they can beat a tough Saint Mary's team for the West Coast Conference 'chip. Find out who else is playing tonight right here ...
As always, the game of the night is highlighted for you below and remember to check out the Can Ball Report Twitter feed for any game links.
March 8
7:00pm Western Kentucky vs. Troy
9:30pm Saint Mary’s vs. (18) Gonzaga – to start off their WCC Conference the Zags gave a revenge beating to Loyola Marymount. But they did let them get back into the game late before pulling away late in the second half. Now they are playing for the championship, again, against an always tough Saint Mary’s squad who seemed to be playing better than everyone expected all season after losing Patty Mills. Expect a dog fight for the automatic invite to the Big Dance in this one. Interesting to note that both Canadians Bol Kong and Manny Arop both played over 20 minutes in game and had big contributions off the bench though Arop had seemed to injure his ankle and may not play tonight. Check out last night's game review by our collegues at The Slipper Still Fits right here and check in with them out tonight for the live game thread.
