March 6
12:00pm (23) Texas A&M @ Oklahoma
1:30pm USC @ Arizona
2:00pm (1) Syracuse @ Louisville – the Big East Tournament is a few days away, seeding isn’t a problem for the ‘Cuse. Right now it’s about maintaining that swagger that got them here. Facing a tough team that may make the NCAAs this team will need a good game to close out the regular season in style in a hostile environment.
2:00pm Richmond @ Charlotte
2:00pm George Washington @ (20) Temple
2:00pm Notre Dame @ Marquette
3:00pm NJIT @ Chicago State
4:00pm Central Arkansas @ McNeese State
4:00pm St Bonaventure @ (25) Xavier – so here we have a test to end the season for Andrew Nicholson and the Bonnies. The Musketeers are riding a great tide right now and have returned the Top 25. The Bonnies are riding a four game winning streak and are looking to make it five. For St Bona it’s about seeding for the A-10 Tournament next week and they drop Xavier to second going into the conference tournament. Nicholson has been playing well in the four wins and is coming off a 21 point, seven rebound, two block game so look for him to come out big and prove he is a star on the rise.
6:00pm Iowa State @ (5) Kansas State
6:00pm UMBC vs. Vermont – the Catamounts are looking to punch their invite to the Big Dance by winning the America East Tournament but to do that they first need to beat UMBC in the quarter finals. This will not be an easy out for Vermont despite UMBC only having three conference wins. Montreal’s Maurice Joseph was voted to the All Conference third team yesterday so expect him to have a big game here. He’s only scored in single digits four times this year so he should not begin that trend now.
7:00pm Cornell @ Yale
7:00pm Columbia @ Brown
7:45pm New Orleans vs. Western Kentucky
8:00pm Texas-Arlington @ Texas A&M-CC
8:05pm Hawaii @ Idaho
8:15pm New Hampshire vs. Maine
9:05pm New Mexico State @ Utah State
10:00pm UC Irvine @ Cal Poly
10:00pm Niagara vs. Iona
10:00pm Louisiana Tech @ Nevada – this is a good game to play before the post season conference tournament. The Bulldogs have stumbled some in the conference season after a torrid start to the season. They will need to win this game to get a better seed and a win ties them with Nevada for third in the WAC, to which the Bulldogs would have the tie breaker. Toronto’s Olu Ashaolu has been excellent in the last two games averaging 13 points, eleven boards and three steals and had similar numbers in the last game he played against the Wolf Pack.
10:05pm Pacific @ Cal Northridge
