Today, we have two big games featuring some good Canadian ballers:  Maurice Joseph and Vermont play for the America East Championship and automatic bid to the NCAAS at noon and Devoe Joseph and Minnesota will look to continue their gaint killng ways later taking on Purdue.  Find out who else is playing right here ...

We have highlighted the games that you need to watch today as always and remember to check in with the Can Ball Report for any game links we can find for you.

March 13

12:00pm Boston University vs. Vermont – the Catamounts have a legit shot at punching their ticket to the NCAAs and sending MoJo back the Tournament for the first time in three seasons.  He didn’t need to do much on the offensive side in the easy win for Vermont over New Hampshire to a few days ago instead letting his defense do the talking but this game is for all the marbles now and he will want to come out smokin’ in this one.  He only had four points on six shots and for a gunner like Joseph that is a little paltry.  He will need to show the full arsenal of tricks for this one since the Terriers will look to avenge two in season losses and steal the Dance ticket.

3:30pm Richmond vs. Xavier

4:00pm Minnesota vs. Purdue – after a great beginning to the Big Ten Tournament against Penn State, the Gophers toppled the 11th ranked Michigan State Spartans in OT last night 72-67.  A great win for Minnesota that only helps their bubble case.  Today’s they face Purdue for a chance to add another quality win to the resume and advance to the semis.  The Boilermakers will be a tough win here and if the Gophers have enough gas left in the tank, they could have a legit chance at winning, particularly since Robbie Hummel is out of the lineup.  Pickering, ON’s Devoe Joseph had a team high 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 43 minutes last night and could be the X-factor in this game for Coach Tubby.  Check in with our SN Nation colleagues at The Daily Gopher for the game break down here.

10:00pm New Mexico State vs. Utah State
