NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb 4

Tonight there are plenty of Canadians taking the floor in the NCAA including the 13th ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Canadian quartet of Sacre, Arop, Kong and Olynyk in the nightcap game.  Find out which other players are playing which teams right here ...

As always, we've highlighted the games we feel you should take a good, hard look at.  Remember that all times are in Eastern Standard and check in with the Can Ball Report Twitter feed for any game links.

Feb 4

6:30pm Campbell @ Stetson

7:00pm Buffalo @ Central Michigan

7:00pm Detroit @ (15) Butler

7:00pm Georgia Southern @ Western Carolina – the Catamounts are second in the Southern Conference right now and this game is a game they should win.  Pickering, ON’s Harouna Mutombo has not scored as much as last season but he has picked up his rebounding and assists despite having his playing time seesaw all year.

7:05pm Samford @ Citadel

7:30pm Tennessee Tech @ Eastern Kentucky – this is a must win game for Eastern Kentucky.  A loss means they tie with Tech in the conference so the Colonels need to win this game.  Toronto’s Papa Oppong has had at least 10 points in eight of the last ten games and had highs of five rebounds, 4 assists and four steals in that span.

7:30pm Long Island @ St Francis (NY) – Kyle Johnson is probably the most underpublicized of the Canadians down south.  He has been a legit scoring threat for three seasons now and really gets not love in the Canadian media.  With it being close to conference tournament time, you should really check him out since on any night he could go off for about 30 and 12.

7:30pm Wagner @ Mount St Mary’s

7:30pm Monmouth @ Fairleigh Dickinson

7:30pm Central Connecticut State @ Bryant University

8:00pm Western Kentucky @ Louisiana-Monroe

8:00pm Southern Utah @ South Dakota State

8:30pm Houston Baptist @ Chicago State

9:00pm San Jose State @ Louisiana Tech – after a tough set of games the last week which saw Tech’s winning streak end, this should be a good one to watch.  Toronto’s Olu Ashaolu’s has not had Olu numbers over the last few games so this could be the game that he explodes from the tip off.

10:00pm Cal Northridge @ UC Riverside

10:30pm California @ USC

11:00pm Portland @ (13) Gonzaga – this will be a good game.  Portland has stunned some ranked opponents early in the season and can hang with the Zags when they’re rollin’.  After the loss to San Francisco last week, expect Gonzaga to come out with a very big chip on their shoulder.  Look for the Canadians will be a big factor in this game and don't forget to check in with our SB Nation colleagues at The Slipper Still Fits for the live game thread as well.

11:30pm Santa Clara @ Saint Mary’s – this will be a tough game for the Broncos.  After going scoreless against San Diego Jan 8th, Vancouver’s Marc Trasolini has scored in double digits in five of the last six and this could be a showcase game for him.
