NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb 3

Tonight there are a few games that we can say are important games for conference standings highlighted by the Vermont vs. Maine tilt that features three Canadians.  Check out the other games right here ...

As always, check out the highlighted games as these are the ones that we feel you should take a look at.  And be sure to check with the Can Ball Report's Twitter feed for any game links.

Feb 3

7:00pm Maine @ Vermont – this is a big game for both teams.  For Maurice Joseph and Vermont, this could mean gaining ground on the America East leading Stony Brook and a possible number one seed in the conference tournament.  For the tandem of Murphy Burnatowski and Mike Allison and Maine, this contest means the same thing.  Maine had been playing well of late while Vermont has just gotten a win after three straight losses before that.  A definite must watch.

7:00pm DePaul @ Marquette

7:00pm Albany @ Binghamton – after a scandal that rocked the Bears just as the season was to get underway, Binghamton has managed to salvage what was destined o crush the program.  They’ve won six of the last eleven and are currently sitting in fourth place in the America East.  Toronto’s Chretien Lukusa has picked up his scoring while still anchoring the defense.  This game is worth a watch.

7:00pm Richmond @ Saint Joseph’s

7:00pm Elon @ Wofford

7:30pm Iowa State @ (24) Baylor

7:30pm George Washington @ Charlotte

8:00pm St Bonaventure @ Saint Louis – the Bonnies are not going to a post season tournament this season it seems but they can still play spoiler for any conference foes that will.  Mississauga, ON’s Andrew Nicholson missed the last game, a loss to a tough Dayton squad, due to illness.  If he’s not in the lineup, this could be a long night for St Bonaventure.

8:00pm McNeese State @ Northwestern State – McNeese State is a team that doesn’t look to be heading to any post season tournament since they are sitting at just about the bottom of the standings in the Southland Conference.  Who cares!  Vancouver’s Diego Kapelan is still a shooter and it’s always fun to watch when’s he’s hitting from the outside.

8:00pm Texas A&M-CC @ Texas-Arlington

8:05pm Central Arkansas @ Lamar – another basement resident in the Southland Conference, the Bears also have no chance of getting a post season invite.  But Kitchener, ON guard Imad Qahwash is worth the effort to watch.

10:00pm UC Irvine @ Cal Bakersfield
