The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 3

Tonight's Marquee Match Up features a little known but highly potent outside threat playing on the west coast.  Find out who else is playing right here ...

Marquee Match Up

9:05pm Portland @ Montana

I think that most Canadian basketball fans would not be checking out a game that the Portland Pilots play.  That’s just the plain truth.  But if you haven’t, ever, tonight may be the time to do so.  After a couple of years of role playing, Nemanja Mitrovic has worked his way into a starter this season and he is playing the perfect other outside scoring option to the Pilots’ Jared Stohl, who happens to be one of the more dangerous three point shooters in the NCAA.  Through eight games this young season, Mitrovic has started all the games he’s played and is already 11 field goals off his total from last season (41).  He’s averaging a very efficient 10.5 points per game in 23.9 minutes and has doubled his rebounding (3.1) and assist (2.0) averages from a year ago.  On a rather quiet NC-Double-Eh game night, this should be THE game you watch.

And here is when everyone else is playing ...

7:30pm Canisius @ Iona – Montreal’s Randy Dezouvre has been showing flashes off and one in the Gaels first few games.  He could have a good one for Iona tonight.

7:30pm Niagara @ Marist

11:00pm North Dakota @ Idaho

11:00pm Kansas State @ Washington State – In this one you may have a Juevol Myles sighting if the game gets really out of hand.  Not to knock the guy but K-State’s backcourt is just too packed right now and that will be the only way he gets floor time unless there is a rash of injuries … or suspensions.
